| OVERTURE I’ll start from the beginning. The official optimism of our well-off, bourgeois and conformist society is in its nature false and surrealistic. Its vice is not evident, but if you have a closer look at it, you see an environment with unified thinking and marketed image of good and evil. A human being living in this society is constantly forced to perceive his life as free and happy, which contradicts to his living in the real world and leads to the duality of his mind. On the one hand he has to feel the beauty and reasonability of his existence, and on the other hand sees the demonized reality with all its tragedies, disasters and every-day problems. He undergoes all that surrounded by other stupid, disturbed and ugly, in their majority, creatures like him. As a result, the society we live in is the one of angry, aggressive paranoiacs and psychos, ready for everything up to physical extermination of everything that can deprive them of the illusion of order and correctness of their lives, of the feeling that everything goes as it should. It seems logical to compare the situation with addiction to drugs, where abstinence syndrome expresses itself in the form of suicide, wars, terrorist attacks and other disgrace. The system works faultlessly. It feeds those who believe in it, ignores those who take off their protection screen and live in harmony with their conscience, and punishes those who try to change things. In the field of culture, like in other spheres of life, the antagonism between Reality and System expresses itself fully. Prostitution in talent is encouraged, where one should comply with the competition and market laws, which, naturally, leads to the dialectic response: go to hell, I’ll do as I wish. In a different case the System either ignores you or starts punishing, accusing of heresy and depriving of oxygen. Most of those egocentric, at the first glance, selves eventually have to accept a compromise with the System. Suppressing their desire to vomit, they serve the System, smiling artificially, flirting with it and pretending to be part of it. They are rewarded with a possibility to execute their own Reality, secretly from the System, when free from prostitution. At least this Reality, however different for each of them, does not correspond to the unified model of freedom and happiness making them all simultaneously sick. Those who do not have a lucky, under the circumstances, gift of hypocrisy are obliged to hide in catacombs of their studios, rehearsal rooms, inside their computers etc. all their lives, devoting part of their time to nonsense like making money, not even needed in Reality. The concept of the System provides for nonexistence or destruction of everything, which lives beyond its limits and is seen as destructive. In the field of art there are more then enough possibilities for implementing this concept. Censorship of money, in the first place. Why does it happen? For what reason? Qui prodest?...
